Lounge VR

Roles: Responsible for all elements

I was inspired to recreate iconic places from the School of Art, Design & Media (my University) as a digital 3D environment and into a VR experience.

It is made for the HTC Vive and you are able to explore the different rooms and interactive with objects. The rooms have plenty of easter eggs - you can pick up the objects on the table, some of which even have text for you to read. And you can even punch and knock down some of the easels in the drawing room if you wish to vent your frustrations.

One iconic moment is when players are shrunk down to the size of an ant, giving them a new perspective of what it feels like to be a really small creature in the now gigantic school.

Spoilers! There is even a scary corridor at the end. Some of my friends were actually too scared to walk through it because it honestly is really scarily lit and inspired by how scary the dark corridors in school can look like while I was working late there at 12am!

Lighting played a significant role for this project. But for the most part, you can chill out in the really relaxing lounge.
